The organization seeks to offer businesses multiple opportunities to share their experiences with teachers and students in 8th through 12th grades as to how business concepts apply in workplace settings and in life.

Hundreds celebrate students, volunteers, educators and business!
Over 200 students, educators and community leaders attended the annual Recognition Luncheon held April 22 at The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison. The program featured student speakers who shared highlights from what they learned while partcipating in the various programs created through the Business & Education Partnership. Some shared how they discovered the value of time management and being open to new ideas. Others thanked volunteers for opening their eyes to a full range of future career opportunities. It was a great opportunity to hear first-hand from students and administrators how important the link between businesses and schools really is. Thanks to all who attended.

Hellenbrand Scholarship winners announced!
For the fourth year, the Business & Education Partnership is proud to partner with Research Products Corporation in awarding the Vernon J. Hellenbrand Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Hellenbrand was past president and CEO of Research Products Corporation and a leader with the Business and Education Partnership. He believed “helping students explore the business of business” and this scholarship was created in his name to provide financial support to individuals in their continued post secondary business education. This year's recipients are Carley Ballweg from LaFollette High School and Sarah Allen from Edgewood High School. Both will be taking what they've learned through their participation in the BEP programs and applying it to their future studies in business adminstration and entrepreneurship.
